• Question: What is the most weird name given to a galaxy?

      I’m not sure what’s the weirdest, but a lot of galaxies are named after things they look like. Two strange ones I can think of are the Tadpole Galaxy and the Sombrero Galaxy (you can probably guess what these look like!). There’s also a special type of galaxy called “jellyfish galaxies”, which have long tails coming out from them, making them look like jellyfish.
