Question: Hi! I want to ask you, when did you know exactly what were you going to study or what was the reason you have chosen science? Was it something that you admired since ever or it was more likely to a spontaneous idea? And yeah also, have nice day!

I think I pretty much knew I wanted to do physics after about a year of high school – I liked chemistry quite a lot too (pretty anything scientific except biology), but I also liked maths so think I already knew it had to be something with lots of maths in it and that’s what theoretical physics is.
I guess I’d always liked maths right from elementary school and just as soon as I knew what physics was about that was where I wanted to be.

It was a gradual build based upon enjoyment of the subjects at school. I enjoyed science and got good GCSE results, so I decided to study physics, chemistry and maths for A-level. Whilst studying that, I found that I loved chemistry, so I decided to study that at university.

Thank you for the comments, it helps me to decide what should I study after the high school!
