Question: when you were a kid ,was your dream to be a scientist?

No, it wasn’t. I wanted to be a radio show host, a sports caster or an engineer. I was always drawn to science especially biology (I have a passion for the environment) and physics (even though it was really difficult!). But I kept learning Physics because it’s what interests me. I like electricity too so I went with engineering. I am studying engineering at uni but many of what I learnt from that can be used here at my laser scientist job. Even though I always loved science, I didn’t think I would be a scientist until 2 years ago and I’m happy I am one now 🙂
