Hi Tulah. I am very lucky because my work means I travel to different places to study the environment. For my current project, I have been to Peru several times, where I work in the high mountains (above 3000 metres of altitude). For my last project, I was working in the Arctic, mostly on the islands of Svalbard which is half way between the top of Norway and the North Pole. It’s so far north that it has 24 hours of sunlight a day in the summer (and 24 hours of darkness in the winter – although I have not visited in the winter). It also has polar bears, arctic foxes, lots of amazing birds and some cool types of plants!
