Pre pandemic, I would spend Monday-Friday in the office/lab. To keep everyone safe, I now go to work ~ 2 days a week. It’s more challenging to do experiments, but I’m very grateful that I can still do some work.
I think it might take a little while longer for the vaccine and lockdown to take an effect on COVID numbers – but I’m hopeful things will start to look more normal soon.
Hello, pre-pandemic I used to be on site every day, since the first hit of covid, I am working full time from home and still, unfortunately, continue like this till late spring. Since I am currently doing only computational work, I need to stay out so that some of the experimentalists can work and we would reduce the risk. Tereza 🙂
Ha! I used to go to my office every day (Mon-Fri), but with the various lockdowns and travel restrictions, I now work mainly from home. When I’m teaching I go into the department because we have to record the lessons and also broadcast then over the network to the students – the system we have at the university is much better than trying to do it from home.
