I don’t think so but maybe I didn’t realise there was one when I was diving in Asia & Australia (PS great question I had to google what it looked like, they have a tough gig being called ugly!)

No, but I have seen some awesome fish when snorkelling. There is a really cool, colourful one called a Humuhumunukunukuapua’a that I like the best – but you don’t get them in the water off the UK

Blob fish actually live really deep in the ocean, and are used to the super high pressure down there. So actually, photos you’ve probably seen of a blob fish are what it looks like at sea-level pressure, which is much lower than it is used to!
If you saw a blob fish in the wild, you probably wouldn’t recognise it, because it would look completely different in its high pressure environment. 🙂

Ive saw photos of one, but I havent seen one in the water – maybe it looks quite different in the water swimming around?

Only in Stardew Valley! Sorry – that’s not a helpful answer! 🙂
I do know that they are not as ugly in real life as when they come up to the surface of the ocean!

Not in person no, but now I know they live in the deep parts of the ocean, thanks to Katie Sieradzan!

Never even heard of them, but then I’m not a marine biologist.
However, I have been but I’ve been diving at Cozumel in Mexico and also in the Red Sea – both places that have a fantastic amount of fish of all sorts, colours and sizes.
